Water safari

Depart from Dar es Salaam in jeep 4×4 safari vehicle towards Selous Game Reserve. Enjoy a late lunch at the lodge / tented camp choosen. Afternoon game drive in the reserve, back for dinner and overnight in lodge / tented camp choosen.

Enjoy 3 full days in game drives in the reserve admiring the natural native of this park and explore its rare species; Waterbuck, southern reed buck and bushbuck are common in the Selous. Rare sable antelope, lion and greater kudu which frequent this area. Enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of a walking safari accompanied by an armed Ranger a special treat that will live long in your memory, enjoy a boat safari where you will explore the different channels and lakes of the Rufiji River surrounded by hippos and crocodiles. Early breakfast, game drive on the way with picnic lunch towards Ruaha National Park passing through the south west of Mikumi National Park for dinner and overnight in lodge / tented camp choosen.

After breakfast drive to Ruaha National Park, which is famous for its rare sable antelope, roan antelope, and big herds of elephants. The park represents a transition zone where eastern and southern African flora and fauna overlap. Although Ruaha is one of the largest park in Africa, it is comparatively unknown and due to its remoteness, remains unspoiled. Enjoy a late lunch at the lodge / tented camp choosen. Afternoon game drive till sunset. Back for dinner and overnight in lodge / tented camp choosen. Enjoy another full day game drive in the park. Approximately 500 species of birds have been spotted within the park. The river area host a large number of hippos and crocodiles. There are also other animals in the park; lions, leopards, hunting dogs, waterbucks, impalas, giraffes, warthogs and elands. Grants gazelle, ostrich and cheetahs may also be seen on the plains. Back for dinner and overnight in lodge / tented camp choosen.

Early breakfast, game drive on the way towards Mikumi National Park with arrival in time for lunch in lodge / tented camp choosen. Afternoon game drive in Mikumi National Park well known for its large population of elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, elands, and greater kudus, wildebeests, roan and sable antelopes. Predators include tree-climbing lions, leopards, wild hunting dogs and black-backed jackal and crocodiles. Monitor lizards, yellow baboon and hippos might also be seen. Dinner and overnight in lodge / tented camp choosen.

Early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Mikumi National Park. Back for lunch in lodge / tented camp before driving back to Dar es Salaam and proceed with your holiday extension or fly back home.
